I am a woman
dancing on a thousand shifting suns
as the sands of time rain
from the heavens that surround me.
I swirl in the depthless
pools of existence,
twisting my hands just so
to capture the light as it shines
from the stars.
My eyes are aglow, lit from within
by the fervour of my soul,
and I glide over moons,
laughing as they brush against
my shivering skin.
I hear bells chiming in the distance,
and a waterfall of delight
erupts inside me;
a woman dancing –
barefoot –
on a thousand shifting suns.
